Margaret Irving (APSNZ) is based in New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand. She is an Associate Member of the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ).

Her photographs were selected for the prestigious PSNZ publication New Zealand Camera 2010.

Amongst the recent awards she has gained:

An Honours and a Highly Commended in the North Shore Photographic Salon 2009.

Four Acceptances in the 2009 PSNZ National Exhibition (NATEX).

An Acceptance in the Laurie Thomas Landscape Salon 2009.

Second place and a Highly Commended in the 2009 Taranaki Interclub Competitions.

Silver Medal in the 2008 Photographic Society of New Zealand National Exhibition (NATEX).

Bronze Medal in the 2006 National Exhibition (NATEX) which toured the Country over the following year (Tourex).

Margaret belongs to the New Plymouth Photography Club (NPPC) and Inglewood Photography Appreciation Group (IPAG).

One of her goals was to set up a professionally designed website so she could share her award winning photographs with an international audience. The photographs feature a wide range of subjects ranging from Landscapes to Architecture and include Taranaki, New Zealand and International images.

The inspiration behind many of the photographs is the clean green, 100% pure New Zealand environment. New Zealand is full of beautiful scenery with bush forests, clear blue lakes, awesome volcanoes and thermal wonderlands. New Plymouth not only has wonderful coastal scenery but also the magnificent Mount Taranaki which looms majestically over the City.

The images in this website were taken with Nikon cameras and digitally enhanced to present them at their best.
